Recently completed an 15kW mini-grid system installation with the transmission, distribution systems on Kiwa Island, more than 500 kilometers from Nairobi. The system will be part of a mini-grid distribution system serving 106 homes and businesses with reliable off-grid power.

Supply and installation of a 2.4 kWp Solar System powering a 1kW Water Pump and providing lighting and electricity for various government installations and international development organization in West Pokot. The pump will provide drinking water for more than 300 households living around the center. The borehole had stopped functioning in 2014, reportedly due to the fact that rising fuel prices meant that the population was not able to pay for the fuel required to run the generator. We completed and commissioned in June 2018

Our client Catholic Diocese of Marsabit engaged  Green Innovation Ventures Enterprises to install a ground-breaking pre-pay solar mini-grid in Marsabit County for public institutions at Kambi Ya Mawe. The solar mini-grid is generating 17.5kWp of solar power that will electrify the local parish office, health center and nuns’ quarters as well as village households, public institutions, commercial enterprises and water pumps. Having no access to energy so far, the residents rely primarily on kerosene, diesel and car batteries to meet their energy requirements.
